Such a spectacular place with amazing views! Best time to go is sunset and as we were here in June, there were no crowds at all. Was able to enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the seals.

Admirals Rock is a big walk down and it was raining, so the wooden walkway was slippery, no ones fault. But you have to be sort of fit to do it. Nice big waves crashing on the high cliffs.

Lovely rock formation that will take your breath away. There’s also a seal viewing platform and you can see these animals up quite close.
Lots of stairs to get down to the arch but worth it.

A very well prepared nature tour, walking walkways.
We took a lot of pictures, because it's a great memory.

There are 2 key locations from the carpark. The closer lookout enables you to watch the countless seals playing, swimming or just lazing around. It takes some time to see them all however, worth the effort. There is also a boardwalk which takes you down to view the seals closer and see the beautiful Admirals Arch. The National Park Service has done a fantastic job in construction the boardwalk, along with a viewing platform at the Arch. Well worth the drive and walk.

Admirals Arch is the most stunning place I have ever seen it’s just breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves as we went early in the morning. There are so many seals definately worth a trip to Kangaroo Island just to see this you will not be disappointed

This is a great site with a long boardwalk all the way down to an amazing lookout where you can see fur seals basking in the sun on the rocks below. We saw many down there with their little pups. Then you turn around and there is this amazing view of the Admirals Arch. Unfortunately while we were there the workers had it closed off as they were building a new lookout platform but we still could see through the Arch and got some lovely pictures.
They have done a great job since the fires in rebuilding the boardwalk and structures around the area so visitors can take advantage of the beautiful views.

The road to Kangaroo Island is a long one. But the trip was worth it with the exhilarating view of the Admirals Arch on the western side of Kangaro Island. There were so many wild life along the way but also a number of road kills :(. At the Arch, there was a number of seal just chilling out on the rocks and it's quiet amazing seeing them in the wild and quite close from the viewing platforms. The view was picturesque and the experience was exhilaring to say the least!

Admirals arch, one of the Islands major tourist attractions, is at the western end of the island, about 110 km from where we were staying in Kingscote, Or about 160K from Perrinshaw where the ferry arrives.
The trip down to the attraction was somewhaty boring. There was very little to see but scrub lining the road on either side, and agricultural land beyond that with a few sheep. There was quite a lot of road kill along the way, kangaroos, wallabies and other smaller furry animals. We never saw an alive wild creature
On reaching the area, we found a magnificent walkway with chrome stainless steel handrails and a reconstituted rubberised footpath leading down towards the water, a distance of about 400 to 500 m. Every bend of that path exposed the sun twinkling on the waters and small waves gently washed over the rocks below. It would’ve been even more fantastic had there been big waves.
At the bottom of the walkway there was a sharp turn left which exposed the Admirals Arch. Admirals Arch is a natural rock arch created by the forces of nature. This arch is composed of a huge cave through the rocks which has been created over many many years by sand wind and waves. It is quite spectacular and probably worth the trip down here on its own.
On the way down the walkway there are plenty of seals to be seal lounging on the rocks

Admiral's Arch
From our Island Beach B & B it was a 266km return trip but l'm very satisfied that we made the trip as I consider that it was well worth having a close look at it & we were certainly not disappointed even though they are currently constructing new walkways.

Hi!
I would like to reach too the Admiral Arch and the Remarkable Rock but I don't understand how to get there.
Where I have to park the car and start walking? And how long the walk is?
Thank you!

Pay at the Flinders park visitors centre and they give you a map. You then drive to several car parks and take short walks to the sights. Allow about 2 hours to see all.
